We do have snow! This was a good snowstorm... we've got over six inches of snow on the ground and it looks like it'll stick around for most of the week. Laurel went out this morning and got a few pictures. Here's a wildly cropped and resized one for a thumbnail:

The gist of it is that the Texas CPS had no justification to take all those kids (more than 440) from their parents.  They did not have any indication that the children were in immediate danger, and they cannot treat all the families as a single household.
