Well, this is a first for me...  as I was preparing to do an install (dishwasher) at a customers house the other day, I introduced myself to their dog.  It was a little yapper, and so I leaned down to put my hand in front of it's nose.  Now I've heard conflicting reports, some say palm up, as the dog will interpret that as respectful.  Some say palm down so that the dog knows you're not scared of it.  Well, I chose palm up, held out my hand, and that stinkin' dog bit my hand!

So now I have a hole in my hand, about 1/4" X 3/8" and several layers of skin in depth.  It bled a bit immediately after the bite and stopped right away.

Anyway, the lady seemed surprised, but said that her dog doesn't like men, which, by the way, is great for her since her husband is often away, but not that great for me.

What got me thinking about posting about it is that I'm cleaning the wound with hydrogen peroxide at the moment.  It still needs a good bit of cleaning.  Hydrogen peroxide is my medication of choice for just about any wound...  take a look at this video...

In other news, we've got layers of snow and ice outside... been hearing the snowplows go by this morning.  I need to make it out in a few hours to go do a couple details, so that may be some exciting driving.  We're due for more 'winter weather' tonight and tomorrow as well.
