The Wall...

Wall partially gone, and the stairs showing through...  gonna have to put a new floor in there!

Wow.... nailing into those 100 yr old oak boards is stinking tough!  I felt rather spent after that little bit of work.

Ahh... some help showed up for the final step...  the new floor is in, though it's very unlevel.  It does, however, match the old floor at both ends.  The new one is simply OSB (cheap plywood, used for subfloor and for on studs under the siding).  Eventually a new hardwood floor will finish it out.
