Snowed In!

Well, it’s happened again. We were snowed in two days last week, and now we’ve got ‘blizzard’ conditions and are snowed in again. Today we probably could have made it to work, but I’m past the point of taking unnecessary risks just for money…

Wind Turbine update

Well, my grid tie inverter is dead.  I’m sending it back to the manufacturer, and they will hopefully send another one out quickly.  Once I have that, we’ll hopefully be able to get feedback into the grid from our turbine.  It’s neat to see it spin, and see it charge a battery.  Will be exciting [...]

A small side note.

As a side note… yes, I know the header pic on this blog is still a Missouri pic.  It’s a great picture, but I’m going to change it to a KS pic soon.  One of these days.  I’m also testing some settings (mostly the FB interconnect thingy) with this post.
